Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships | You must offer your apprentice a recognised apprenticeship framework that takes at least twelve months and up to five years to run |
Their apprenticeship duties must include obtaining the relevant skills and learning as well as hands-on experience | |
You must pay them an earning wage and holiday pay | |
You must allocate a percentage of their working time to training and studies | |
While the wage you are required to pay an apprentice is lower than hiring an employee, you shouldn't underestimate the responsibility to train them | |
You may be eligible for government funding to assist you in training your apprentice |
Agency Staff
